MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. In Medellin in 2017, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. It reached the top 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums Chart. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. In 2021 he produced an duet with TINI's popular song Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. According to him, musicality was a fundamental aspect of his daily life. As a child he learned to play saxophone guitar ukulele and piano. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
